NORTH END SUSPECTS DETAINED: CCTV SUCCESS
Crime

In the early hours of the morning, Atlas Security’s Control Room once again proved why real-time monitoring saves time, prevents loss and leads to arrests.
Our CCTV cameras detected suspicious movement on the cameras in North End. Two male suspects were observed jumping over the rear boundary wall and moving through the premises. Through clear camera visuals, the suspects were seen trespassing and stealing items onsite.
Thanks to the immediate response of our Control Room, our armed response officers were provided with accurate, real-time descriptions and movement updates as the suspects fled the area.
Armed with live CCTV intelligence, our armed response vehicles along with Bravo 135 initiated a coordinated search. The suspects were successfully located and apprehended.
The client was on site and confirmed the incident, while SAPS responded and took over the suspects for further investigation.
This incident highlights the real power of monitored CCTV systems. Cameras don’t just record when actively monitored by a professional Control Room, they detect and deliver results.
At Atlas Security, our Control Room operates around the clock watching, analysing and acting so our communities don’t have to face crime alone.
Because when CCTV is monitored properly, criminals don’t get far.
