Fast Intervention Limits Impact of Vehicle Break-In in Fernglen

Swift coordination and immediate response ensured a contained incident, with no loss reported and suspects unable to proceed further.
Atlas Security received an alert during the early hours of Friday morning regarding a vehicle that had been broken into at a residence in Fernglen.
The control room immediately acknowledged and prioritised the signal, dispatching our armed response team to the scene. Upon arrival, it was confirmed that the front window of the vehicle had been smashed.
Armed response teams, including Bravo 118,attended to the scene and secured the area while our control room maintained communication with the client.
Bravo 93 provided additional patrol support, searching the surrounding area after reports of a suspect seen near nearby bushes.
The vehicle owner confirmed that, although damage had occurred, no items were stolen.
SAPS was contacted immediately and attended the scene, where the incident was processed and a case was opened.
When vigilance is matched with rapid response, situations like this are contained before further damage can occur.

Armed Response Officer Bravo 57 entered the client’s premises, where he observed the kitchen door had been forced open. He intercepted and arrested the first suspect exiting the property.
