Early this morning a panic signal was activated from a home within the Framesby area, immediately alerting Atlas Security’s Control Room to a possible crime in progress. Within seconds, our dispatchers acknowledged the alert and mobilised armed response vehicles to the scene.
It was confirmed that a suspect was actively tampering with the property’s letterbox, attempting to remove the brass fittings.
Armed Response Officer Bravo 93 arrived on scene within minutes and began an intensive patrol of the surrounding area. The suspect described as a male wearing denim clothing attempted to flee the area but was quickly located nearby.
Bravo 93 successfully detained the suspect in where the homeowner later positively identified him as the same individual who had broken open the letterbox in an attempted theft.
This incident once again underscores the power of panic activation, real time communication and rapid armed response deployment.
Thanks to the alert actions of the homeowner, the vigilance of the control room and the swift response by Armed Response Officer Bravo 93, a crime was stopped before it could escalate.
When criminals test the line, Atlas Security is already on the other side alert, mobilised and ready.
