Our Rapid Intervention Unit wasnโ€™t about to let it slip through. Officer Bravo 10 made the turn, caught sight of the Corolla, and stayed on it, and a call was made to bring in our second RIU unit to close the gap. The chase led straight into a scene already crowded with an accident and SAPS on the robots at ๐๐ฎ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ž๐ฅ๐ฌ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ข๐ง ๐‘๐จ๐š๐. Officer Bravo 10 flashed the vehicle down, backed up by Officer Bravo 56 on scene, and the driver pulled over right behind the waiting SAPS van.

The vehicle was handed to Walmer SAPS and impounded on the spot, taken off the road while investigations into the string of thefts continue.
