Atlas Security’s area-specific WhatsApp groups have been created exclusively for our clients and registered keyholders across Nelson Mandela Bay. These groups form part of our ongoing investment in smarter, faster, community-driven security communication.

The purpose is simple. To create an additional, direct layer of communication between you and our Control Room.

‍

If you notice suspicious behaviour, an unfamiliar vehicle, or anything that raises concern in your immediate area, you can report it instantly on your suburb’s WhatsApp group. Our locally based Control Room monitors these groups in real time, liaises with Armed Response, and actions the necessary operational response without delay.

‍

Information is critical in crime prevention. The faster it reaches us, the faster we can act.

‍

In the event of a confirmed or positive incident in your area, our Control Room will also issue real-time alerts on the group. This ensures residents and businesses remain informed, aware, and able to take precautionary measures where required.

‍

To protect the integrity and operational value of these groups, they are heavily regulated and governed by strict communication rules:

‍

• No general conversation
• No forwarding of unrelated content
• No chit-chat
• Emergency requests and verified incident information only

‍

Every message is treated as operationally important. This structured approach ensures urgency is never diluted and response priority remains clear.

‍

All groups are managed directly by Atlas Security’s Control Room, not third parties or community admins. This keeps communication accurate, verified, and action-driven.

‍

If you are not yet part of your area’s WhatsApp group, joining is simple. Click on your suburb’s link, submit your details, and our Control Room will verify your client or keyholder status before adding you. The process is quick, secure, and controlled.

It is another way Atlas Security continues to enhance communication, strengthen community safety, and ensure you remain secure in our hands.
