Over The Fence, Into Custody

General

A fence line, a hidden yard, and two vigilant neighbours who weren't fooled.

On 9th Avenue in Walmer, a resident's sharp eye made all the difference. When a suspect scaled the back fence and slipped into the property, our client wasted no time, phoning it straight through to our control room.

Response was rolling within a minute. Our armed response vehicles arrived on site in under three, moving fast to close the net.

The suspect, thinking he'd gone unnoticed, made his way toward the veranda before realising he'd been spotted. He doubled back and tried to disappear into the yard itself, but there was nowhere left to go. Bravo 111 moved in and detained him on the property, holding the scene until SAPS arrived and took him into custody.

No loss, no damage, just a homeowner who trusted her instincts and a team that backed her up in real time.

This is what fast reporting and faster response look like in action.
